DEFEN DIGITAL

WORKING TOGETHER

A clear path from idea to launch.

Understand discovery, scope, development, testing and rollout for business systems, integrations and digital projects with Defen Digital.

Four steps to a useful business solution

Make the quote easy to compare

Before accepting a proposal, check the modules and workflows, user roles, integration access, data responsibilities, migration plan, acceptance checks, account and source-code access, training, payment milestones and recurring costs. External integrations and data migration should have their own scope. Ongoing marketing work, advertising spend and third-party subscriptions should be itemised separately.

These are points to agree for your project. Your accepted written proposal defines the deliverables and commercial terms.

Common questions

What should I send for a quote?

Share your business process, current tools, users and the tasks that cause delays or repeated work. Tell us the improvement you want, any required integrations and an indicative budget or timing. A finished technical specification is not required.

What does a project include?

The written proposal should list modules, workflows, user roles, data responsibilities, integrations, acceptance checks, rollout and handover. The agreed scope determines what is included; an example on this website is not a standard package entitlement.

How are system access and source-code handover agreed?

Domain registration, hosting access, source-code handover and any licensing restrictions should be agreed in writing before work starts. Third-party platforms, themes and services may have their own licences and account requirements.

Are hosting and maintenance included?

These depend on the proposal. Ask for hosting, domain renewals, platform subscriptions, payment-provider fees and ongoing support to be itemised, including which costs are recurring and whether GST is included.

How long will the project take?

Timing depends on workflows, integration access, data readiness and scope. We discuss milestones and your review time before agreeing a launch date. Changes to scope can change the schedule and price.

Can you guarantee first place on Google?

No. SEO work can improve technical foundations and content relevance, but rankings depend on competition and search engines. We discuss the work and how to measure progress without promising a particular position.

Can we discuss the project in Chinese?

Yes. You can discuss your requirements in English or Chinese. A bilingual website needs its own agreed translation, page structure and content scope.

What happens after launch?

Handover, any agreed defect-support period, ongoing maintenance and future improvements should be set out in the proposal. New features and third-party changes may require a separate scope.
